Infant Occupational Therapy at WILD LLC is designed for children 0-3 years of age. These services assess a child's development, determine their achievement of developmental milestones, evaluate their tone and strength, observe their head control in various positions, assess the presence and integration of newborn reflexes, and much more. Our services utilize standardized assessments as needed to relate your child's development to other children of similar age. We then use this information to help structure our treatment sessions and target areas that are important for both you and your child. Infants born prematurely and seeking follow-up therapy after being discharged from the NICU would fall under the category of infant OT. Our lead OT has also completed additional training in lactation support specifically related to tongue and lip ties and can provide assessment, education, and bodywork to improve breastfeeding outcomes for both mom and baby.
